New Perspective
I found a new perspective in journalism. I didn't realize how much work it was to write a simple story. There are so many different ways to write a story. There are different leads, and different ways. I don't like writing this way I'm better at fictional stories. I never realized how hard it was to interview a person and get the the information back. I have a new respect for journalists.

ReplyDeleteIt was nice going through this class with you Karina! Have an awesome summer.
Yeah I also agree. I always thought it would be so much easier but it most definitely is not. It's crazy how much you rely on other people in journalism. Good luck finishing up your classes Karina!!
ReplyDeleteAlso agreed, this class has given me a new perspective on how journalism and the news works.
ReplyDeleteI totally agree, there are so many aspects to writing and now we are better able to judge what we read.
ReplyDeleteGrade: 10/10
ReplyDeleteI'm glad to hear that you have a new-found respect for journalists and the effort it takes to complete a news story, Karina. I hope that you don't give up on journalism completely. Yes, it's a specialized form and different from fiction writing. However, there are opportunities to be creative within the available forms. Plus there is the reward in knowing that you are helping keep democracy strong through your reporting.
